Homemade Honeymoon Night Can Still Provide Feeling Of Being Alone

Jun 16th, 2008

As unbelievable as it may sound, there are couples who simply do not have the time or the money to spend on a fabulous destination honeymoon and are forced to stay home on their wedding night. Either by choice or necessity, there are couples who plan their own homemade honeymoon night and can just as much fun in their own bed as they could have had on an exotic island somewhere. They may also choose a local motel just to say they got out of the house but for most of them just being together and having time alone is enough.

Those choosing to stay at home on their wedding night can turn their home into a love nest for a homemade honeymoon night by making sure they are not going to be disturbed following the ceremony or the reception and in some cases it may be best no to let friends and family know their whereabouts at home. Not sp much as what some may say, but what they may attempt to do to disrupt the homemade honeymoon night.

Creating the right mood can set the tone for the evening, but it may equally exciting just knowing that one or the other will not have to go to their place later that night. In some instances, a couple plans a homemade honeymoon night in their new home and one carries the other across the threshold on the wedding night as they begin their new life together.

Advantages Of Being At Home After Honeymoon

One of the advantages of a homemade honeymoon night is not having to travel as far to get there and at the end of the honeymoon the couple does not have to spend a lot of time and money getting back home. It is also not only newly weds with children that plan a homemade honeymoon night, as many singles choose to spend their time, effort and money working around house instead of on an exotic trip.

There is also some satisfaction in knowing that in the years to come they can always take the time to spend in a far of spot and have a second honeymoon anywhere they choose to go. Spur of the moments decisions to wed may also preclude the couple from planning time off of work on short notice, making a homemade honeymoon night at home necessary. But being together on their wedding night is more important for most, as opposed of spending hours traveling to a distant location.
